This plot has been designated a brown-field, development plot and we have secured outline planning and vehicular access.
The planning authority liked our current plans for an upside-down house with 4 bedrooms, office straight off the main entrance and room for sorage or more bedrooms if more soil is moved from the hillside during the excavations. But they said it could be 'grander' - a more substantial building for the entrance to the village.
Current designs assume a build cost of £150k, further improvements can be made in the form of an underground double garage with the garden flowing over the top.
